Following Haiti’s worst earthquake in its recent history, Life Insurance Canada decided to help and contribute to this country’s regeneration. Together with The Cricket Champions League the support event called “LSM Insurance Cricket for Haiti” was launched this February at two places at the same time.
The first games took place at the North Albion Collegiate Institute on February 20 and February 21 at the Malvern Community Centre. Women as well as under 19 years old Cricketers participated and had fun, helping the others at the same time. The game attracted approximately two hundred visitors.
LSM Insurance Cricket for Haiti will be a repeated regularly for 8 weeks, with the last game at April 24. With this activity LSM would like to to raise awareness and funds for Haiti.
