Syed was born in Toronto and raised in Pickering, Ontario. He completed the Life Licensing Qualifying Program and successfully passed the provincial exams in 2007.
Since joining the LSM Insurance Team in 2009, Syed has worked closely with senior brokers, learning and implementing professional best practices.
While working full time, Syed has been continually studying part time to stay on top of recent changes in the financial services industry.
In 2008, he completed the Canadian Investment Funds Program offered by the Investment Funds Institute of Canada. More recently he has completed the Canadian Securities Course and Professional Financial Planning Course, both offered by the Canadian Securities Institute.
Syed is currently pursuing the Certified Financial Planner designation and is on course to completing the program by 2012.
In his spare time, he enjoys attending his local Mosque and working out at the gym. He also enjoys traveling and sightseeing with his wife Asma.
