Canada Protection Plan has put together a team for LSM’s Charity Bowling Night Benefiting Lupus Ontario.

Canada Protection Plan is a leader in no-medical life insurance policies, and you’ll often see their commercials on TV touting their plans with no medical tests, no health questions, and guaranteed coverage. They also offer some term life insurance simplified-issue policies, which ask a few health questions.

This is LSM Insurance’s first benefit for Lupus Ontario, and they’re very happy to be part of it. As one of Ontario’s market leaders in online insurance sales, they’re truly enthusiastic about bringing such a powerful force in Canada’s life insurance landscape out to support such a worthy cause.

“I’m very excited about [Canada Protection Plan] joining the tournament,” says Chantal Marr, president of LSM Insurance. “Canada Protection Plan is well known and respected across Canada, and together, we are helping a great organization in Lupus Ontario, which is helping enrich the lives of people in need.”

For over 30 years, Lupus Ontario’s ultimate goal has been life without lupus, a sometimes fatal and always life-altering autoimmune disorder that affects over one in every 1,000 people. If you have lupus, your immune system creates antibodies, which instead of protecting the body from bacteria and viruses attack your own tissues. It’s certainly a disease worth finding a cure for, and LSM Insurance plans to have fun raising money towards that goal.

They are offering Toronto Maple Leafs hockey tickets to the top individual bowler, a $300 gift certificate to The Keg Steakhouse and Bar for the top team, and Cineplex Odeon movie passes for each “Turkey” (three straight strikes) scored.

Stay tuned for more updates, as LSM Insurance is approaching local celebrities to participate in the event and will keep you apprised of any new developments.

I’ll throw my (virtual) ball into this with a challenge: Any advisor who donates at least 4 times Chai (that’s $18 times 4 or $72) to Lupus Ontario before the end of this month will receive a free 6-months subscription to the InteliComp multiple platform mobile life insurance cost comparison software.

To receive your 6-month free InteliComp subscription, please send a scanned copy of your charitable donation receipt, showing a donation of at least 4Chai ($72) to Lupus Ontario to [email protected] or ask Chantal to send it to us by fax.

To sweeten the challenge, if you donate 5Chai ($90) to Lupus Ontario, we will credit the same amount to your first year of subscription to the LifeGuide Professional Software which also includes a free subscription to the multi-platform mobile InteliComp software.

Keeping in mind that the donation may be income deductible for tax purposes AND that the fees paid for your LifeGuide subscription are deductible as a business expense you may benefit further by doing all this in December.

This is not tax advice but just something to consider to benefit Lupus Ontario as well as your service to your clients and your competitive edge.
