Three Instant Issue Life Solutions From Assumption Life

Assumption Life has made a big splash in the instant issue life insurance market. Instant issue life insurance is a policy which is geared towards individuals who are not in optimal health but have a need for life insurance.

These policies are issued without a medical test and with limited proof of insurability. Most instant issue plans limit the death benefit in the first two policy years but Assumption Life’s Golden Protection and Golden Protection Plus pay out from day one.

    Thanks Patrick,

Assumption’s Instant Issue plans have no medical tests but some health questions whereas the plan you have may not have any questions. If you qualify for the Assumption plan they will likely give you a better value

If assumption life pays out the life insurance from day 1…why wouldn’t everybody who is given 6 months or less to live run out and buy a policy? I’m paying $99/month with a competitor with a 2 year clause…assumption life offers the same for $60/month without the 2 clause…is there something I’m missing?

Thanks for the note. $10,000 of Golden Protection with Assumption Life would be $22.55 a month. The insured would have to had been diagnosed with cancer over 2 years ago and had no change in treatment the last 2 years.

Thanks for the note. I think a key advantage is it allows people to get coverage who would not normally qualify for insurance. As the population ages this market is increasing. Regards … Lorne

I believe the advantage of this type of life insurance lies in its convenience, which can be attractive to a lot of people. That was a sound idea of the company.

Life insurance can be very stressful and often confusing. It’s good to know what’s available before making a decision. Shopping around is the best tactic to finding the right insurance for you.
