Desjardins Disability Coverage for University Grads and New Grads

Dentist is one of the professions
eligible for Desjardins
new grad disability benefit.

Desjardins has announced that students in the last year of university or in the first year of practice in the following professions, will receive a predetermined monthly disability benefit without providing financial evidence. For some professions listed in the table below, the first $1,200 of benefits is guaranteed for the first 36 months, while for other professions, indicated in the table, the benefit is guaranteed automatically.

The offer is not valid if the student has returned to school and is continuing their previous occupation. In that case, the benefit would be based on the insured's previous income.
